1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Event Ticketing. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Event Ticketing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile services, applications, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, purchasing tickets, or using any part of our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, including purchasing tickets and booking rides, you must register for an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years of age, or if younger, you are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
All information you provide during registration is accurate, current, and complete.
You will maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

3. Ticket Purchases & Bookings

Our Platform enables users to purchase tickets for events and book rides/attractions associated with those events. All purchases are subject to the following conditions:

3.1 Pricing & Payments

All ticket and ride prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Prices are set by event organizers and ride operators and may be subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
We accept payments via Razorpay, supporting UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, mobile wallets, and other methods as displayed at checkout.
Payment must be completed in full at the time of booking. Partial payments or pay-at-venue options (Cash on Delivery) may be available for select events at the organizer's discretion.

3.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed upon successful payment and receipt of a booking reference number.
Upon confirmation, e-tickets with unique QR codes will be generated and delivered to your registered email address.
Each ticket and ride ticket contains a unique QR code that must be presented for entry or ride access.
We are not responsible for tickets not received due to incorrect email addresses, spam filters, or technical issues beyond our control.

3.3 Ticket Validity & Expiry

Tickets are valid only for the specific event, date, and time mentioned in the booking.
Unless otherwise stated, tickets are valid until 12:00 AM (midnight) of the event date. After this time, tickets automatically expire and become invalid for entry or ride access.
Expired tickets cannot be used, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances.
Used or scanned tickets cannot be reused for the same event or ride.

3.4 Transfer & Resale

Tickets are generally non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the event organizer.
Unauthorized resale, scalping, or commercial trading of tickets is strictly prohibited and may result in ticket cancellation without refund.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings suspected of fraudulent or bulk purchasing activity.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Refund policies vary by event and are determined by the respective event organizer. Please review the specific event's refund policy before purchasing.

Event Cancellations: If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will typically receive a full refund to your original payment method within 7-14 business days, unless otherwise communicated.
Event Postponement: If an event is rescheduled, your ticket may remain valid for the new date, or you may be offered a refund at the organizer's discretion.
User-Initiated Cancellations: Tickets purchased are generally non-refundable unless the event organizer explicitly offers a cancellation window or refund policy.
Ride Tickets: Ride bookings follow the same cancellation and refund policy as the associated event ticket.
No-Shows: Failure to attend an event or use a ride ticket does not entitle you to a refund.

Refund processing is handled through Razorpay and may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Event Organizer Terms

Event organizers using our Platform to list and manage events must adhere to the following:

Account Approval: Organizers registering through the website may be subject to a pending approval process. Accounts are activated only after review and approval by the main administrator.
Accurate Listings: Organizers must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about events, including dates, times, locations, pricing, capacity, and descriptions.
Event Changes: Organizers must promptly notify attendees of any changes, postponements, or cancellations via the Platform.
Compliance: Organizers are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, insurance, and complying with local laws and regulations for their events.
Content: Organizers grant us a non-exclusive license to use event images, descriptions, and content for promotional purposes on the Platform.
Payouts: Ticket revenue payouts to organizers are processed according to the admin payout schedule and are subject to platform fees, if applicable.

6. Entry, Scanning & Ride Access

Attendance and ride access are governed by the following rules:

Attendees must present a valid, unscanned QR code ticket at the entry gate or ride entrance for verification.
Each QR code can only be scanned once. Duplicate or previously scanned tickets will be rejected by scanner staff.
Scanner staff and ride operators are authorized to deny entry if tickets are expired, cancelled, already used, or suspected to be fraudulent.
Attendees may be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID matching the ticket holder's name for high-security events.
We and event organizers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove attendees for disorderly conduct, safety violations, or breach of event rules without refund.
All scan logs are recorded in our system for security, auditing, and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or networks.
Using automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data or make bookings.
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent ticket purchase limits, if any.
Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating your affiliation with any person or entity.
Engaging in fraudulent transactions, chargeback abuse, or payment disputes without valid grounds.
Harassing, abusing, or harming other users, organizers, or staff through the Platform.
Reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, or reselling any portion of the Platform without express written permission.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, termination, legal action, and forfeiture of any tickets or payments.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and the overall design, is the property of Event Ticketing or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent. Event names, descriptions, and images provided by organizers remain the property of the respective organizers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

We act solely as an intermediary ticketing platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of events organized by third parties. Attendance is at your own risk.
We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the Platform. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at events.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets, or for failure to attend an event due to personal circumstances.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Event Ticketing, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Platform; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your attendance at any event.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration award shall be final and binding.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
